Discoveries Here At Coral Fanatics |
| |
| Another discovery here is
CHECK YOUR PHOSPHATES. Not really a new discovery but a good
reminder. One of those things that can slip the minds of some
hobbyists. Horrible element in your water for your corals.
Binds calcium, affects coloration, promotes algae. |

| You can NEVER have to many
corals !! |
| Coral Fanatics is working
on hybrid Zoanthids. More will
come on the status of this venture. |
| Be vary careful
with dosing iodine. Iodine can be lethal in high concentrations.
Use a proper test kit to insure proper levels. Never add recommended
dosages without doing the testing. I personally like using
the time release iodine- its safer. |

Discoveries |
| Scientists to
date, have discovered 10 new molecular structures found in
a species of red seaweed. Some of these chemical compounds
showed the potential to kill cancer cells, bacteria and the
HIV virus.,These
samples were taken from Fiji Islands. |

| A recent discovery
for the acropora in the aquarium-"Interceptor" This
new discovery for the treatment of acro bugs, has been a big
topic of discussion. It has its downfalls, and users should
do their research before trying this method. Their has been
many reports of success however, but my best suggestion, DONT
GET EM' IN THE FIRST PLACE! Check out more on this topic on
the home page. |

| "Bio Rock" in the
wild ocean has been developed and proven successful. Solar
technology captures the suns rays through solar panels and
transfers the energy into large rebarb structures in the ocean.
Corals are then placed on the rebarb where the metal conducts
an electrical field, that draws more elements and energy to
the field, thus growing the coral at much faster rate. Pretty
Cool!! |
